Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School is a mission-driven school in the historic community of Greenmount West. Founded in 2008, we serve a diverse community of students aged 3 through 8th grade. Our school features an extensive Seed-to-Table program, beautiful outdoor learning and play spaces, talented and dedicated staff, supportive and visionary administration, a dynamic and engaged family community, and fruitful partnerships with local community organizations. Baltimore Montessori Public is Baltimore City’s only public Montessori school.

​Our Adolescent Community (MS) program is growing! We are adding positions to our team as we continue our work to become an International Baccalaureate school at the middle school level:

• Science/STEM Teacher-Guide (Adolescent Community/Middle School

Mission Programs

Mission Programs provide students with meaningful enrichment experiences that advance the school’s commitment to educating the whole child. Through hands-on arts, culinary, strategic, and civic engagement opportunities, students develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world skills while connecting to the broader community and practicing sustainability and social responsibility. 

Mission Program Leaders leverage their professional experiences and community connections to facilitate these enriching learning experiences in collaboration with school staff. Mission Program Leaders are paid by stipend and hours vary by area.
