SEED TO TABLE
Our dynamic student-powered cooking and gardening program includes a working student kitchen and a vibrant green space. We have fruit trees, berry bushes, a 3000 square foot vegetable and herb garden, a thriving apiary, and an active chicken coop. In the student kitchen, children learn how to prepare and enjoy a variety of healthy foods.
Baltimore Montessori Public, in the urban heart of Baltimore’s Arts and Entertainment District, is our city’s first public Montessori school. We opened our doors in 2008 with a mission to build a diverse community of joyfully engaged learners and a vision to nurture a love of learning in a small, family-like environment. Today, we serve 475 students from 26 different zip codes across Baltimore City, with a wait list of over 1000 students.
